We started off our Monday with something from the DC universe. Not much of it streams on the channels we have, so it is a rare find.
This movie was much better than the previous Suicide Squad, although that might have a lot to do with the presence of Idris Elba. He could come and rescue me any day.
There is so much chaos on this action film, and plot wise, I pretty much lost the story somewhere into it. That did not stop it from being fun, just rather disorganised with several sub-plots that really only existed for the point of existing.
This leads me to believe that the entirety of this movie existed only Harley’s mind.
I would pay good money to watch Deadpool, Harley, and Spidey face off against Batman. Or maybe just a porno between DP, SM, and HQ… we are drifting supremely off target at this moment. Sorry, Idris.
Margot Robbie has successfully made that Harleyquinn her own, and I am all for it.
My review is going off on many tangents, as this movie did. We are not even going to touch the N’Zoth starfish.
This movie was good, and earned the right to a second viewing, just not anytime soon. DC still has not caught up to Marvel, but if they keep bringing me Margot and Idris, I will happily keep watching.
Wait…
Where is the review?
Messy tangents, with messy plot, with decent violence, Harleyquinn being Harley and Idris Elba being smouldering. Happy times.
