I lost the plot somewhere after the first 15 minutes. Very pretty movie… but requires full attention even more than a Ghibli movie.

It seems like an excellent film noire, with a very interesting concept, and the problem is that I am the type of viewer that requires movies that I can watch while doing other things. This is not one of those movies.

As I mentioned, I had lost the plot in the first 15 minutes, and every time I looked over to see what was going on, I was nowhere I thought I would be. But, it would be interesting and keep my attention for the time I could allot to it.

I can not really say what the story is about. There was something of a Neo type character, I think, but in the end, that was not so.

The animation style, although very pretty, did not help with maintaining my attention, as I found the flickering frustrating and the ultra dark moments limiting on my focus.

I would recommend this movie to people who enjoyed Sin City.
